How's it going folks? I know this has been brought up time and time again, but why is there such an absence of reliable vendors of quality (preferably powder) H? As of right now, I only see one guy selling some black tar at ~ $300 a gram.
I'm actually considering stepping up and filling the void, I have a really excellent connection for some of the best powder heroin in the country. It comes from the Southwest part of Chicago and is some of the best I've ever seen. It is greyish in color, a small amount provides the distinct heroin rush and sedation.
Thing is, I'm short on capital to get started and I don't want to save up to make this venture if there is a lack of serious buyers. If I do decide to go through with this, it may be a couple of weeks yet. My prices would be as follows:
0.1 g = $30
0.25 g = $65
0.5 g = $120
1 gram = $225
I would like to eventually lower my prices but I'll be starting off small and need to make sure I'm making enough money to make this worthwhile. Is this something I should consider?

High Quality at those prices are a must.

If you look at some of the most successful dealers on SR, many of them have expensive (and sometimes excessive) prices. People here seem to be willing to pay a premium in order to deal with the best sellers and avoid any hassle. With that in mind, people pay those prices because the dealer has a great reputation. So you can and will get enough demand once your reputation is there, but you may have to deal with some smaller quantities and/or cheaper prices for samples in order to get the ball rolling.

I can certainly see the point in needing to establish a customer base, especially because heroin in particular is a pretty dirty game with a lot of potential scams.
I do want to become a successful dealer and would be aiming to join the elite.
I would like to offer lower prices (and certainly would if this were local distribution) but when you're selling online, you have to factor the price of shipping, gas, driving to various places to mail it, etc. I'd also need to invest in a vacuum sealer, I refuse to ship this product without sealing it.
The one thing I don't want to do is offer cheap prices and then raise them. I'd rather lower my prices in time as I am able to purchase larger quantities. I was just curious to see what kind of demand there was for heroin in general on SR.

I wouldn't exactly call someone who can't afford to get the shit in the first place a prospective dealer but I got to respect you trying to pull a classic at least, mix things up a little.
Sure I'll just wait in this parking lot for you to come back with it.

I don't get it. I didn't ask for a front of any kind, how am I "pulling a classic?"
I can certainly afford to buy the dope, but I'd have to wait to get things like a high quality scale, vacuum sealer, etc. I said "prospective dealer" because I use dope but very moderately, so buying in quantity is not something I really want to do unless I'm going to be selling it.
I don't want to invest in these things if there is not a market for the product. I am, therefore, gauging interest, so I know whether or not it is worthwhile.
If I do follow through, it will be strictly through escrow only, and to the absolute best of my ability. I believe that honest dealing is far more profitable than a scam here or there.

There is a market for this, trust me, just go see the Rumor Mill forum for Illy (she was selling it on here), huge demand.

I'm surprised you had to ask. I understand why, with having to buy all the peripheral accessories like the vacuum sealer and scale, but think about this: You would be the only guy selling powdered heroin on a website that can be accessed anywhere in the world. I'll tell you the other guy doesn't appear to be turning out to good, and the other people who pop up for a couple days or a week or two here and there are usually scams and things fall apart very quickly. It upsets me because I'm from Jersey and used to get great boy from Newark and NYC, but I've been in Florida for years now. It's pill land down here, and everyone is addicted, but the dope is scarce, hard to find, and usually a major disappointment. I'll say this this, I'd love to see you start up. If you live up to your word, I for one (and a bunch of people I know personally) would buy from you... even if it took you a while to rank among the elite of SR vendors, if you start now you'd have a lead because trust me, this other guy isn't going to work out, I can see it already. And even better, I'd venture to guess that you won't have any real competition for a while. I hope you do. Just remember one thing: You can't fuck up once. Your business relies on the idea that strangers will give you their money electronically without ever meeting, seeing, or speaking to you (other than PM's which you'd need to respond to honestly and swiftly), and the only way they will do that is if you maintain an impeccable reputation. I'll tell you I could see 50 good reviews on Silk Road and here on the forums, but one report of not receiving a package, or vendor not responding, or things taking so long they don't know what's going on... well, that's all it takes for me to say forget it. I hope you do, and I hope you do well.

All i got to say is BE PREPARED.. have everything you need for what you have ready to go...you will get overwhelmed very quickly once you have acouple successful transactions...so make sure you have enough stamps, envelopes vacuum bags, and different drops for mailing ready to go. should also make it clear how long it could take from order to ship so people dont get all crazy when they still see processing after a day or two.

What knives said. Get a system down. make sure you know how much posting for all your different weights are. Get a label maker, buy as much stuff as you can, once your busy, you will be amazed how quickly you are having to re-up your supplies, let alone product. Feel free to ask me any questions. Also, make sure you have a GPG, people will feel a lot safer knowing that their address is encrypted.

Also a good idea to invest in some latex gloves when packaging so no fingerprints are on the envelopes...when dropping off you could always just put on some scotch tape on forefinger and thumb its clear and wont be noticeable...
